First of all we would like welcome everyone to our online course beginning here at the blog of Lukeskyblogger. Thanks to everyone who is joining us and we hope you follow us each week and ask lots of questions if you are not clear on any steps. As you will see as the weeks go on the blog will be ever changing.
OK, today we are going to start with an introduction to our series 'Making Money Online Is Easy' and then move on to some of the main aspects of starting a successful home business. Following that we will ask you to complete a few simple tasks between now and our next post. So, lets go...
My business partner and I embarked on the challenge of learning how to make money online in August of 2007. For those of you that are familiar with looking at, and prospecting the idea of starting an online business you know how many different people are offering advice, programs, tips and 'secrets' on their ways to online success. Well let us tell you first hand, many of them offer valuable information, but there is always a catch, the majority of these company's try and up-sell you to a larger bigger product which in actual fact we found out you can find all that information for FREE if you do your research correctly. The information that these companies are selling is common knowledge and is all right in front of you if you search for it correctly. Thus we started building online 'Niche' stores. The best thing we could have ever done! Since our success with online 'niche' stores we have journeyed on many more business ventures pertaining to our home based business. We will go in to that in more detail as our course continues.
So your wondering what have we done to reach success without using an online money making program? Well just to peak everyones interest in our program in the month of November 2008 we made $34,560.00 all from the comfort of our home office (we will break that down later in our sessions so you have a better understanding of where and how that income was generated)
In starting our home based business we took a number of simple steps to find out what would work best and what were the best approaches to each of those steps. In our research we found that building an online store based around a 'niche' topic would suit us just fine. As the research went on we learned that finding a 'niche' was not difficult, rather knowing what to do with the 'niche' was our key problem. Finding the right 'niche' for you takes a few simple steps: #1. Think of something you are passionate about (IE: sports, jewelry, gardening, travelling) anything that you can see yourself selling as on online product. #2. Narrow that 'niche' down to the very specifics. So in a case where you choose to sell golf clubs for example, as we all know there are many different name brands, many different types of clubs and many different types of golfers that will buy your product. We highly recommend that you take one aspect of your 'niche' and build on that. Once you have completed that, take another aspect of your 'niche' and then build on that and so on. example: Build an online store all about selling Hybrid Golf Clubs and purchase a domain name around that targeted 'niche'. After that build an online store all about selling Golf Balls, and keep it narrowed down so that each site is very specific to your 'niche'. Once you have gone through all there is to go through in regards to golf you should have about 15-20 online 'niche' stores up and running generating you income from the comfort of your own home.
Niche sites will be a very powerful tool in your online business. You will build a 'niche' site and market it and in return you will profit nicely from these stores.
After leaning about 'niche' stores online we had to figure out what the best avenue was for us in order to start building these sites.
